Consent management with Cookiebot
We use the Cookiebot tool to manage your consent. Cookiebot itself sets a technically required cookie, for which the use is based on our legitimate interest indicated in the consent documentation. The way to delete cookies was explained in detail in the “Deleting cookies” section above.
Detailed information on cookies and the text that is presented when you first go onto a website are found below. In addition, information is provided on whether you have granted consent to cookies and to which ones. The decision you have made is always transparent and understandable.
You can always change or revoke your consent or refusal using the links below.
The following sections provide information to you about these cookies if they also impact personal data.
Policy on the use of analysis and tracking tools
Use of Matomo
This website uses Matomo (formerly Piwik), an open source software for the statistical analysis of visitor access. InnoCraft Ltd., located at 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington in New Zealand, is the provider of the Matomo software.
The IP address will be made anonymous immediately after processing and before storing by removing the last 2 bytes. You have the option to block the installation of the cookies by changing your browser settings. We would like to advise you, however, that changing your settings in this way may limit the functionality of the website.
More information about privacy settings in the Matomo software can be found in the following link: https://matomo.org/docs/privacy/.
Processors are the likely recipients of any data.
The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for our collection purposes. In our case, this will happen automatically after 6 months.
There are three ways you can refuse consent to data processing through Matomo:
The first is that you can completely prevent the storage of cookies in your browser. This may disable some functions of our website that require identification. Second, you can enable the “do not track” setting in your browser. We have configured Matomo to respect this setting. Finally, with a mouse click you can select the so-called opt-out cookie, which is valid for two years. The consequence here is that Matomo will not register your next visits. Please note that the opt-out cookie will be deleted when you delete all cookies.
Use of Google Analytics
As an alternative to the browser add-on or within browsers on mobile devices, you can turn off tracking through Google Analytics on our website by clicking this link. An opt-out cookie will then be installed on your device. As long as this cookie remains installed on your browser, collection by Google Analytics for this website and this browser will be blocked.
Use of Google Remarketing and DoubleClick
This website uses Google’s Remarketing function. This function makes it possible to present interest-based advertisements to the website user within the Google advertising network. For this purpose, a cookie is stored on the visitor’s computer. The character sequence contained with the cookie serves to recognise a visitor who visits websites that are a part of the Google advertising network. Advertisements can be displayed to visitors related to content in previously visited websites that use Google Remarketing.
For this purpose, Google uses the so-called “DoubleClick” cookie. It is the same cookie that is used by websites that run advertising programs by Google’s subsidiary DoubleClick. Our website does not display any advertisements from third parties. The DoubleClick cookie here serves only for the Remarketing function.
Analysis through WiredMinds
For the purposes of marketing and optimising our offerings, this site uses products and services from WiredMinds AG (www.wiredminds.de). Data that are produced via a user profile under a pseudonym will be collected, processed and stored. The user profile will be made fully anonymous where possible and practical. Cookies may be used in this case. Cookies are small text files that are stored in the visitor’s internet browser and serves as a browser’s recognition system. The collected data, which can also contain personal data, will be transferred to WiredMinds or collected directly by WiredMinds. WiredMinds may use information collected through website visits to create anonymous user profiles. These data will not be used to personally identify visitors to this website and will not be combined with personal data of the bearer of the pseudonym without express permission from the person concerned. As soon as IP addresses are collected, they will immediately be made anonymous by the removal of the last digits. Future data collection, processing and storage can be refused at any time.
