Policy on the use of analysis and tracking tools

Use of Matomo

This website uses Matomo (formerly Piwik), an open source software for the statistical analysis of visitor access. InnoCraft Ltd., located at 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington in New Zealand, is the provider of the Matomo software.

Matomo uses cookies that you enable in order to analyse the use of the website. The information produced through the cookie about your use of the internet services is stored on a server in Germany. We have configured Matomo such that there is no profiling.

The IP address will be made anonymous immediately after processing and before storing by removing the last 2 bytes. You have the option to block the installation of the cookies by changing your browser settings. We would like to advise you, however, that changing your settings in this way may limit the functionality of the website.

More information about privacy settings in the Matomo software can be found in the following link:

Processors are the likely recipients of any data.

The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for our collection purposes. In our case, this will happen automatically after 6 months.

There are three ways you can refuse consent to data processing through Matomo:
The first is that you can completely prevent the storage of cookies in your browser. This may disable some functions of our website that require identification. Second, you can enable the “do not track” setting in your browser. We have configured Matomo to respect this setting. Finally, with a mouse click you can select the so-called opt-out cookie, which is valid for two years. The consequence here is that Matomo will not register your next visits. Please note that the opt-out cookie will be deleted when you delete all cookies.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a website analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of a website's user traffic. The information obtained by the cookie about your use of this website will be transferred and stored to a Google server in the US. IP addresses visiting our website through Google are automatically made anonymous through the shortening of the address. In certain cases, IP addresses are first transferred to the Google server in the US and made anonymous there through the shortening of the address. On behalf of this website's operator, Google will use this information to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports about the website activities and to render other services to the website operator related to website and internet use. The data gathered from your IP address through your browser by Google Analytics will not be collected together with other Google data. You can block cookies by changing your browser settings; however, it is possible that you will not be able to use the entire functionality of this website. You can also block the collection of data regarding your website use produced by the cookie (incl. your IP address) for Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by installing the browser plugin in the following link: Browser Add-On to deactivate Google Analytics.

As an alternative to the browser add-on or within browsers on mobile devices, you can turn off tracking through Google Analytics on our website by clicking this link. An opt-out cookie will then be installed on your device. As long as this cookie remains installed on your browser, collection by Google Analytics for this website and this browser will be blocked.

Use of Google Remarketing and DoubleClick

This website uses Google’s Remarketing function. This function makes it possible to present interest-based advertisements to the website user within the Google advertising network. For this purpose, a cookie is stored on the visitor’s computer. The character sequence contained with the cookie serves to recognise a visitor who visits websites that are a part of the Google advertising network. Advertisements can be displayed to visitors related to content in previously visited websites that use Google Remarketing.

For this purpose, Google uses the so-called “DoubleClick” cookie. It is the same cookie that is used by websites that run advertising programs by Google’s subsidiary DoubleClick. Our website does not display any advertisements from third parties. The DoubleClick cookie here serves only for the Remarketing function.

Google does not collect personal data from your entries for the Remarketing function. If you do not want interest-based advertising through Google, you can deactivate this function in the settings using the following link: Alternatively, you can configure your browser such that it blocks all cookies or only accepts specific ones. Please be aware that blocking can limit functionality and usability of websites. You can also block the use of cookies for interest-based advertising through the advertising network initiative.
